On Sunday 1st Oct well over 100 attended the Annual Presentation Evening at Withybush Pavilion Haverfordwest. Te audience were treated to a great audio/visual vieo by Huw Lloyd. It captured all the highlights of the 2016 track and field/cross country seasonwith all athletes getting a mention. And what atles they were. The video brought home how talented our young/not so young athletes are with many championship medals / Welsh vests / broken records and general great performances attained. The evening was well hosted by Club Chairman Huw Morgan. 

Andrew Lloyd-Hughes ( Welsh Athletics Regional Co-ordinator ) and Bill Carne ( Pembrokeshire's Mr Sport ) were the guests and helped to hand over the medals/awards. Winneres of the age group awards were...

U11 Boy : Rhys Lloyd Roberts  ;  Under 11 Girl : Maddie James  ;  Under 13 Boy : Jamie Zygadlo  ;  Under 13 Girl : Ella Wintle  ;  Under 15 Boy : Dylan Phillips  ;  Under 15 Girl : Flavia Jenkins  ;  Under 17 Boy : Wiliam lloyd  ;  Under 17 Girl : Thea Jenkins  ;  Under 20/Sen Man : David Evans and Matthew Williams  ;  U20/Sen Woman : Abi Buxton. 

The Pride of Sulien Award was hotly contested with Andrew Salmon being presented the trophy by Rachel Matthews who explained to the assembled audience what the award was all about.

So, onto another year which I'm sure will be as successful as the last with a steady stream of new athletes joining the Club.
