Last Sunday (14th July), 8 of our finest athletes competed in Cardiff in junior events incorporated into the Welsh Senior Champs. All 8 performed superbly with many making the podium in their events. Those that didn't medal all gained fantastic new pb's. Once again, these Junior Championships highlighted what talent we have in the Club at the moment. Not just in regional standings but in Uk wide rankings.....

Liam Topp ran out of his skin to win the 100m and the 300m. These results along with his  200m win a few weeks ago made him a triple Sprints Champion !!

Ella Wintle's Gold in the 200m along with her 100m title and U17 300m title a few weeks ago made her a triple Sprints Champion.

Dafydd Pawlett's 15.01m throw in the shot makes him No2 in the UK

As mentioned before, there were also some huge pb's on the day...Gracie Griffiths (1500m). Rhys Llewellyn (1500m) , Luke Thomas (100m).

Competing in the Senior Champs, Heather Lewis walked brilliantly to a new pb ad Gold Medal in the 5K Walk.
