Last weekend's busy schedule continued on Sunday 10th June with 12 athletes and a big support group of family and officials making the trip up the M4 to Swansea for Match 3 in the Welsh athletics League. On yet another hot and sunny day in Swansea there were many fine performances on the track and in the field by our Pembrokeshire troops and this was rewarded with a 4th place.

Two performances must be mentioned....Flavia Jenkins made the journey to Swansea two days on the trot. After competing over many hours in the Combined Events Championships the day before ( Bronze Medal), she turned up and ran another fine race in the 300m Hurdles, nearly catching her Nemesis form Llanelli.

The U17 boys got together for the 4x200m Relay and ran a great race to set a new Club Record in the process

Many thanks to Team Manager, Liz Rowland, for getting everybody there and also to the officials who helped out during the day. It is noticeable to many that, we as a club, are providing plenty of officials for each match ( thanks Jonathan Phillips) along with Sue and Brian Alvey. Also, thanks to the families for their continued and essential support.
