Pembrokeshire Harriers  - formed in 2001 by the Amalgamation of the two previously established Pembrokeshire clubs of ‘Cleddau Athletic Club’ and ‘Preseli Harriers’.
Cleddau A.C -  Cleddau Athletic Club was formed in 1970 when the then brand new cinder track was constructed at Sr Thomas Picton School Haverfordwest formerly Haverfordwest Secondary Modern. The founder members included the then Head of P E at S T P,  Gordon Rayner,  Trevor Thomas, also a School Teacher, Miss Dilys Watts, Conrad Bryant ( Hon Treasurer) and Mike Richards( Hon Sec). The club was largely Haverfordwest orientated until the Cleddau Bridge opened but did have a county wide base thereafter. Over the early years it was mainly Track & Field but gradually included cross Country and ultimately road due to the efforts of the teachers who were in the Club like Gordon Rayner and Trevor Thomas. Conrad Bryant ensured that the club's finances were well organised and when Mike Richards moved on with his job Terry Rees, who also taught at ST P took over that influential role. The club competed in the Welsh Mens & Women's League with varying fortunes and in the Gwent Cross Country League and the juniors in the Glamorgan Young Athletes League later called the Kate Williams League. When Trevor Thomas retired as Chairman Mrs Dorothy Walter of Herbranston took his place. Huw Morgan took Terry Rees's post when he took promotion and Sue Rees, Terry's wife replaced Conrad Bryant . The club had strong links in this period with Romilley Sur Seine, the twin town of Milford.
