Welcome to Pembrokeshire Harriers!

We are an athletics and road running club, open to athletes of any ability from school year 4 (aged 8+ years).

Come along to a training night, meet the coaches and give it a go. Training information can be found here: Track and Field  or Road Running

If you like what you see and would like to join the team contact club secretary Liz Rowland or membership secretary Laurence Worth. We are a friendly, informal club and look forward to seeing you!

The emphasis is placed on ENJOYMENT ! However, every member is encouraged to compete for the Club in competition appropriate to their ability.


Membership Fees and Welsh Registration

Membership runs from April 1st to following year March 31st, fees inclusive of Welsh Registration fee for 2018/2019 are :

Seniors and Masters under 65 £37.50   ( Includes £17.50 Welsh Registration Fee)
Masters over 65 / unemployed £32.50   ( Includes £17.50 Welsh Registration Fee)
Aged 8 to Under 20 ( school year 4 - 13 ) £22.50 ( Includes £10.00 Welsh Registration Fee)
Family membership £30   ( please add Welsh registration fees for each family member £10 junior / £17.50 senior )

Membership fees also include personal insurance cover, which only becomes effective on joining and payment of the correct membership fee.

Welsh Athletics Registration is obligatory for athletes wishing to compete for Pembrokeshire Harriers. 

In order for us to continue with the hire of transport, maintenance of equipment etc. it is of utmost importance that all athletes pay their training fees regularly and subscriptions when due. The club has considerable outgoings and without this income we would not be able to function.

Please print 2-sided if possible or collect a form from the club cabin. Please also check that you have downloaded an up-to-date copy of the form, which includes questions about your agreement to our use of your data. It is very important that the form is read carefully and returned FULLY completed.

In becoming a member of Pembrokeshire Harriers, we will collect certain information about you which will include your name, date of birth, gender, URN (registration number), email address, address, telephone number and details of any coaching or officiating licenses you hold (Athletics Data). We will use your data in some or all of the following ways:

Training and competition entry:

Share data with club coaches or officials to administer training sessions
Share data with club team managers to enter events
Share data with leagues, county associations (and county schools’ associations) and other competition providers for entry in events

Funding and reporting purposes:
Anonymised data shared with a funding partner as condition of grant funding e.g. Local Authority
Anonymised data analysed to monitor club trends

Membership and club management:
Processing of membership forms and payments
Share data with committee members to provide information about club activities, membership renewals or invitation to social events
Publishing of race and competition results
Website management

Marketing and communications (where separate consent is provided):
Sending club newsletter
Sending information about selling club kit, merchandise or fundraising

Data Retention

Pembrokeshire Harriers will only retain your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purpose stated above. Personal data for members who have not renewed their membership will be deleted after a maximum of 3 years.
