We had a wonderful response to this years champs at Fairwood near Swansea from the club. I counted 21 athletes from the Harriers junior ranks, with many more from the senior/masters section, someone commented "was it the Pembrokeshire Harriers Club Champs".In bright sunshine but heavy and wet under foot conditions this years club results were as follows:-

Six under 13 girls set the pace in the first race, Tegan Harrison  finished of her run in style and 6th place, Jessica Bradley also had a good run in 8th place , Alice Russell-Stretch 10th, Anna Garvey 11th,Jenna Galvin-Clash 18th, Sophie Rees 21st.

Under 13 Boys/15 Girls. Finn Thompson finished 8th, the girls won the first medal when Caitlin Thompson picked up Bronze in 3rd place, Rhian Homer 6th, Poppy Lewis 9th,Charlotte Rees 13th.

Under 15 Boys / 17 Girls.Laurie Howarth showed great improvement in the short time he has been with the club when he picked up Bronze in his first Champs, Liam Bradley also had a good run in 6th along with Sam Withers in 11th,Ruaurdh Cox 13th and Jack Rees 14th. Megan Withers was again the "golden girl" finishing in 1st place Lauren Bell 6th, Josie Lewis 7th and Megan Good 8th all competed well. 

Matthew Richards and Daniel Davies competed in the 9.9k senior race with the rest of the club senior athletes and as yet we have not recieved the finishing results. Both athletes were well in contention at the halfway mark wth Matthew the leading Under 20 athlet and Dan in the leading half of the pack. and "looking good". I will update when the full  results are known.
